Finnos is the most international employer of the year in South Karelia

The competition looked for South Karelian companies with their finger on the pulse, where good work is being done to ensure that internal processes and organisational culture also make it possible to recruit international talent. The winning companies stood out for their appreciation of a diverse workforce and their strong support for employee learning and career advancement.

The jury appreciated the concrete examples in the Finnos application, which showed a good and inclusive organisational culture. For example, the company has used simultaneous interpreters to translate presentations at its Christmas party. In addition, the company offers its international employees the opportunity to learn Finnish through a course and encourages them to use Finnish in different situations.

The competition was organised by the Lappeenranta Junior Chamber and the Imatra Junior Chamber together with the competition partners LUT University, Edusampo Oy and the Federation of Finnish Enterprises in South Karelia.
