Keitele Timber had already earlier chosen Finnos log scanners for all three of its sawmills. "Now a grading scanner for dry sorting was needed for the new trimming line, and in addition the dry sorting scanners at Alajärvi and Kemijärvi will be renewed," Kylävainio says. One of the biggest reasons for choosing Finnos was the technical suitability of the solutions for Keitele Timber's needs. According to Kylävainio, the decision was also influenced by Finnos's convincing performance earlier in the installation and commissioning of the log scanners.

"The scanners have worked well. Replacing and commissioning them in the middle of existing production has been a big and challenging undertaking, but it has been a success," Kylävainio states.
