Finnos is South Karelia's most international employer of the year

The competition sought South Karelia-based businesses that are on the cutting edge, doing good work to ensure internal processes and organizational culture facilitate the recruitment of international talent. The winning companies emphasized the appreciation of a diverse workforce and strong support for employee learning and career advancement.

The jury appreciated the concrete examples in Finnos's application, which demonstrated a good and inclusive organizational culture. For instance, the company has used simultaneous interpreters to translate presentations at Christmas parties. Additionally, the company offers its international employees the opportunity to learn Finnish through a course and encourages the use of Finnish in various situations.

The competition was organized by Lappeenranta Junior Chamber International and Imatra Junior Chamber International together with the competition partners: LUT University, Edusampo Ltd., and South Karelia Entrepreneurs.
