Keitele Timber previously chose Finnos log scales for all three of its sawmills. “A quality meter for dry sorting is now needed for the new incoming equalization plant, and in addition, the dry sorting meters in Alajärvi and Kemijärvi will be renewed.”, Kylävainio says. One of the biggest reasons for choosing Finno was the technical suitability of the solutions for Keitele Timber's needs. According to Kylävainio, the decision was also influenced by Finno's convincing implementation regarding the installation and commissioning of log scalers.

Although Keitele Timber does not yet have experience with Finnos's solutions other than log scanners, the cooperation and the functionality of the log scanners so far have already been convincing. ”The meters have worked well. Replacing and commissioning them in the middle of existing production has been a large and challenging undertaking, but it has been successfully accomplished.”, Kylävainio states. 

Kylävainio states that the collaboration with Finno has met expectations so far, and Keitele Timber would recommend Finno as a collaboration partner for similar projects.
